Building Bridges - 2018 Special Education Summer Conference



Day 1 will include Dr. Laura Riffel, the Behavior Doctor.  She will provide training and educational materials to help professionals, educators and family members communicate more effectively with people of differing ability levels.  

Day 2 will include Melinda Jacobs.  She has devoted her career to the field of special education and disability law, working in government, private publishing, and the representation of public school agencies as a private practitioner.  

Each day will also include breakout sessions featuring topics such as: Mental Health, Behavior and Discipline, Speech Language, Evaluations, Instruction, Parents and Conferencing.  



Important Session Information:


A $100 fee will be due on the day of the workshop if not participating in the DMEC Professional Development Consortium.
