AFESC--“Selfie” Portraits
This workshop is designed to offer multiple opportunities to investigate all four strands of the Arkansas Fine Arts Curriculum Framework—creating, presenting, responding, and connecting. Through standards aligned activities, participants will use iPads or cell phones along with various fine art materials to create personalized “selfie” paintings. This lesson is adaptable to meet the needs of all K-12 art educators. Strategies for both formal and informal assessment will be introduced as well as ideas for differentiation. Come prepared to learn, have fun, and connect to the art making process!
