OUR Strategic Instruction Model (SIM) for Vocabulary for Grades 4-12
Content Enhancement Routines provide a package of procedures that are used explicitly, consistently, regularly, and an integrated way by a teacher across time to enhance the learning of diverse groups of students. This approach meets both group and individual needs while maintaining the integrity of the content. Participants will learn one SIM Content Enhancement Routine that can be implemented in any content area and one SIM Learning Strategy for increasing classroom engagement that can be implemented as a whole class intervention for adolescent learners. Lunch and materials will be provided. This workshop also includes classroom implementation support during the year.
