SCSC - Foundations of Special Education-Paraprofessional Core Training Modules

Explains, discusses and defines the roles and responsibilities of the teacher and paraprofessional. Discusses the legal, ethical and professional standards for paraprofessionals as a member of the student's IEP team. Provided strategies for instructional techniques. This is one of three required core modules for special education paraprofessional training. TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 4D and 4F.

Important Session Information:

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
