What does it mean for students to “closer read”??? Participants will receive information that will include planning for closer reading lessons with a variety of texts, actual lessons to use and what assessment looks like in closer reading. The workshop will use the text Closer Reading Grades 3-6 and the accompanying text Lessons and Units for Closer Reading by Nancy Boyles.
