SCSC - Digging Deeper Into ACT Aspire Math (Grades 3 - 5)

This workshop is focused on grades 3 - 5 mathematics. As educators we know we must teach to our standards, but it is important to prepare our students to address problem solving, justification and explanation, and mathematical modeling. It is also important to understand how the rigor of our everyday questioning elevates student thinking and growth. In this hands-on training, teachers will discuss strategies for supporting students as thinkers and problem solvers. Resources will be shared via Google with all workshop participants.  TESS components addressed for this workshop include:   1F, 3D, 4D, and 4E.
