You’ve been asked to teach coding...now what?  Are you interested in looking at multiple free online coding tools such as Micro: Bit, App Lab and Pencil Code that will allow you to teach the coding block from a project-based approach? You will have the opportunity to leave this training with a plan to teach your class in an exciting and engaging manner.  Intended for the teacher who will provide instruction in the 7-8 Coding block.  Participants will explore the Arkansas Coding Block standards through a series of activities that can be used in classroom instruction.  Instructional strategies and extension activities for those offering more than the 4-week requirement will be included.
