Engineering is Elementary modules are a product of the Boston Museum of Science and are excellent supplements to every school’s science program. The hands-on modules are easy to follow, easy to put together, and provide teachers the engineering component needed for our new Arkansas K-12 Science Standards. Each module contains a multitude of reading and writing tasks, mathematics integration, and application of scientific concepts. All modules revolve around a problem, diversity, and incorporates multiple types of engineering.
This workshop is specifically for grades 3-5 but could be modified for K-2.
