Hattie's work with Visible Learning provides us with information about teaching strategies that can reasonably be used in our math classroom, often without making a drastic change to our routines. Every teacher in each district has unique students and unique needs. Hattie's research database includes over 70,000 studies involving over 300 million students and can provide us with the information we need to make the decisions that are best for our individual circumstances.
This PD is offered through Google Classroom, but there will be opportunities to get help face-to-face if you prefer. So, whether you are a novice with technology or an expert, you can be successful with this blended PD! The timeline is flexible to allow you to work around your schedule. Face-to-face support provided on June 1, June 22, July 13, and July 27. I will be available June 1 to assist anyone who needs help getting on Google Classroom or registering for the course on Google Classroom. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own book.
