NEA - Stations in the Elementary Music Classroom “Creating a Hands-on Learning Environment”

“Stations” That’s the “buzz word” in the elementary classrooms.  Is it possible to incorporate them into the music classroom?  Yes, you can!  I have been doing just this for 13 years in the K-1st music classroom.  The kids absolutely love them!  We will discuss the purpose of stations, how to organize them, and procedures for using them.  I will also share my stations with you and we will explore Ideas for your own stations and do some make n’ take.  You will be emailed a list of suggested materials to bring for the make n’ take closer to workshop time.  Bring a flash drive for Freebies to get you started with your own stations.  Grades K-6

If you are not under contract with the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative or one of our 14 member districts, you will be responsible for all fees related to this workshop.  The fee for this workshop is $25.  Payment is expected the day of the training unless prior arrangements have been made.
