GFESC - THIS IS ARKANSAS: A SEMINAR ON HISTORY AND CULTURE OF THE NATURAL STATE



ADD the A in STEAM education.  This Seminar on Arkansas History and Culture is an annual workshop devoted to promoting the study of the people and history of our state.  Presented by some of the foremost historians in the state, this seminar examines diverse topics ranging from the Indian culture to the rough and tumble politics of the Natural State.  Past presenters include Mr. Tom Wing, Dr. Thomas DeBlack, Archaeologist Dr. Sabo of the U/A, Ray Bertram and This Is Arkansas Film Productions, as well as entertainers such as the Kentucky Thoroughbreds, Acoustaicats, Sweet Strings, and others.  This is the tenth annual seminar and is held at King Opera House in historic downtown Van Buren.

NO COST TO PDC DISTRICTS.   Lunch will be on your own.

You will be provided extra time for lunch and visit in Old Town Van Buren.
