Bryant- Tier 3 Interventions: 95% and Quick Reads
Phonological awareness (PA) is the awareness of units in speech –syllables, onsets, rimes, and the separate sounds in words (which is phonemic awareness).Phonological awareness is a foundational skill upon which the other reading skills are built. Participants should the 95 percent group Phonological Awareness kit. Participants will receive training on how to test, prepare and instruct students. This is a half day session. Attendees will receive an overview of the Quick Reads program. Participants will learn how to instruct students in the Quick Reads program. Attendees should bring the Quick Read kit.
