SCSC-Brain Breaks and Why Students & Teachers Need Them/Human Trafficking and What You Need to Look For.



The brain can only comprehend what the behind can endure. This session will be about incorporating 1 min. brain breaks to engage students and keep them engaged.  You will be surprised at how well brain breaks work.  The afternoon session is about human trafficking and what teachers need to know to recognize the signs.  

TESS components addressed for this workshop include:  2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, & 4C,

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
