This session will focus on implementing Number Talks into the curriculum. The purpose is to build number sense and fluency through five to fifteen minute classroom conversations around purposefully crafted computation problems that are solved mentally. Participants will practice recording strategies and questioning techniques through hands-on activities. This professional development will be based on the book, Number Talks, by Sherry Parrish.
