GREC-Promoting Screen Smart Students

This workshop will explore brain research concerning the effects of screen time on language development and reading. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how and when digital tools should and shouldn't be used to engage literacy learners. Unlimited access to unmonitored technology use has given rise to cyberbullying. Participants will be enlightened on the types of cyberbullying, cyberbullying statistics, ways to prevent cyberbullying, and tips for educators. Come and join us for this fascinating workshop.
