ARESC-Before, During and After the Task
Before, During, and After the Task - You have a task, but now what? By using the before, during and after approach, teachers will have a structure for implementing tasks. Before refers to the time teachers spend on problems before students work on problems. During refers to the time during which students work through problems as the teachers facilitate the process. After refers to the discussion that takes place after students work on problems. Resources for finding tasks will be shared. Audience is middle school math teachers.
