Educators: do you want to expose your students to the fascinating history of how people used ancient plants and also incorporate archeology to make the lessons interesting? Archeologists from the Arkansas Archeological Survey can help you with hands-on, interdisciplinary activities. This workshop is geared towards upper elementary and middle school teachers in the history, STEAM, and language arts focuses, but anyone interested in plants and peoples of the past is welcome to join in. You will leave this free workshop with printed classroom materials, 6 PD credits, and new ideas to make your classroom environment more fun and productive!
