SWAEC- Resource Roundup for Elementary Music Educators
Enjoy a day of sharing, singing, moving, and parachuting with a primary focus on bringing joy and pride into the life of a child! Emphasis will be on Music Rotation Stations, Student-friendly Square Dancing, African Dancing, Indian Flutes/Recorders, Drum/Bucket/Bell/Tuning Tune SmartBoard lessons, highly-engaged Music Theory games, Connecting Reading to Singing, creating Sound Stories, performance/lesson resources, and planning without a music "textbook." Time will be provided for you to contribute resources, open discussions, technology, and your own success with integrating academics into your Music curriculum.
