GREC-Is Your Classroom Ready for a ReMix? Get With the Blend!

Are you ready to transform your classroom into the optimum blended learning powerhouse of teaching and learning that will be the beginning foundation for your classroom's Remix. A ReMixed classroom is a new or different version of a classroom that is designed by changing or adding to the original model. This session will set the stage by defining blended learning, exploring implementation models, and researching tools and trends. BL Basics will lay the foundation for classrooms to transition into a classroom where teachers base teaching and learning directly on the lives, needs, interests, and goals of each student to help personalize learning for them. This type of learning environment moves the teacher from instructor to facilitator of learning. Come join us and see what all of the buzz is about. Learn to better serve each child while making your mission easier to accomplish on a daily basis. PD Hours 6 total ( 3 hours face-to-face, 3 hours online engagement TESS Domains 1b, 1e, 2a, 2e, 3a, 3c, 4d

TEACHERS NOT WORKING UNDER CONTRACT WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN THE GREAT RIVERS CO-OP AREA WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST. YOU MAY CONTACT GREAT RIVERS 24-48 HOURS BEFORE THE WORKSHOP TO CHECK FOR AN OPENING. YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $25.00 FEE PER DAY, $15.00 PER HALF DAY TO ATTEND WORKSHOPS AT GREAT RIVERS. PLEASE REMEMER THAT IF YOU REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP AT GREAT RIVERS AND DO NOT ATTEND AND DO NOT CANCEL AHEAD OF TIME, YOUR DISTRICT WILL BE BILLED FOR EACH WORKSHOP YOU FAIL TO ATTEND WITHOUT CANCELING.
