This session is designed to give classroom teachers a better understanding of what dyslexia is and the indicators that a student might be dyslexic, rationale for screening, and multi-sensory methods for assisting children who are identified. We will review Arkansas’ law and resource guide with special emphasis on each classroom teacher's role in implementing those mandates.
If you are not under contract with the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative or one of our 14 member districts, you will be responsible for all fees related to this workshop. The fee for this workshop is $25. Payment is expected the day of the training unless prior arrangements have been made.
