NEA - A Sneak Peek at the FREE Illustrative Mathematics 6-8 Math Curriculum

Is your school looking for a student focused and engaging middle school math curriculum? If so, please join us for a day to learn more about an exciting new curriculum. Participants will engage in lessons, learn about the structure of the units and lessons, and explore the main features of the curriculum. Schools are encouraged to send a team of teachers, instructional facilitators, curriculum directors, and administrators to evaluate the curriculum as a possibility for the 2018-1019 school year. Schools implementing the curriculum will have training days available in the summer and will receive training and support throughout the school year.

This curriculum provides

  • Vertical alignment information (K-HS) and differentiation strategies in the easy-to-follow teacher notes.
  • Student-friendly learning targets at the beginning and end of each lesson to encourage students to take ownership in their own learning.
  • Diagnostic and End-of-Unit Assessments, as well as Mid-Unit assessments for longer units.
  • Built-in support for English Learners and Students with Disabilities within each unit, rather than providing in supplemental materials.
PLEASE NOTE LOCATION:  ASU RENG CENTER
