Monitoring and Program Effectiveness team from ADE’s special education unit will conduct a training on the topics listed below:

?Interpretation of comprehensive psychological testing results

?Taking the results and writing a complete IEP

?Supporting the goals and objectives through curriculum
In the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to review a current student’s folder and the Monitoring and Program Effectiveness team will be available for questions and support. Participants will need to bring or have access to at least one folder of a current student and a Present Level of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance to review during the training.
Priority registration will be given to special education teachers in years 1-4, because this training is funded by a grant designed to focus on the professional development of novice special education professionals.
