DSC Coding wtih Makey Makey and Scratch

Want to make your students' otherwise boring presentations come to life? Makey Makey is perfect for your classroom. You will learn how to combine Makey Makey and Scratch (free online coding software) to make presentations interactive.  This is a great way to integrate coding across curriculum. But more importantly, students will be engaged and excited to show off what they know.  In this workshop, you will learn how to make everyday conductive materials transform into a computer keyboard. Students and teachers can be successful with little to no coding experience. Makey Makey is a must have device for all classrooms, libraries and MakerSpaces. In this workshop, you will receive a Makey Makey device and lots of materials for your students to start creating!
