SE Fishing in the Natural State

Fishing in the Natural State (FINS) teaches Arkansas's youth basic angling skills and introduces them to the world of fishing. Carefully designed programs guide new anglers from the first introduction to a hook and line, all the way through on-the-water fishing experiences. This program combines lessons learned in the outdoors with school-based curriculum, such as math, science and language arts. Attendees will have the opportunity to go over the new curriculum and participate in some of the lesson plans' hands-on activities. The FINS curriculum is designed for grades 4-12, and can be used in the classroom or any other organized group of students.
