Arkansas’ Own Team Digital, in coordination with the IMPAC committee of the Arkansas Community Foundation, is excited to present Heather Staker’s Blended Learning Live! Based on the Amazon bestseller Blended: Using Disruptive Innovation to Improve Schools by experts Michael Horn and Heather Staker, this event is a two-day simulation of student-focused learning. This experience will help district teams to implement either a new student-focused pilot program or a plan to expand an existing model. This design session will use online and blended models as powerful tools for moving beyond the factory model and personalizing learning to meet each student’s needs. Space is limited. District or school teams of five are optimal, including at least one senior leader and one committed teacher at each school that will be pilot testing the plan.
Participants should bring their own device, if possible. If not, the co-op will have some available for use.
The intended audience is K-12 District or school teams of 5: Administrators, Curriculum Coordinators, Instructional Specialists, Leadership Teams, Lead Teachers.
