SWAEC- Science and Engineering Fair

Learn how to navigate the International Science and Engineering Fair forms required to enter the Ouachita Mountain Regional Science and Engineering Fair on March 1, 2019 at Mid America Museum in Hot Springs and how to succeed at initiating science and engineering fairs at your own school. You will receive templates that will make managing science projects in the classroom easier for you and your students. Diedre Young, Soybean Science Challenge Coordinator with the Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service in Little Rock, will lead this informative workshop. She will introduce the Soybean Science Challenge and share her knowledge about how to support students participating in science and engineering fairs, having sent students to the International Science and Engineering Fair six out of her last eight years of teaching. Diedre Young is a Presidential Award in Excellence for Math and Science Teachers recipient for the state of Arkansas for 2015.
