NWAESC(2246)---TALENTS: PLC for Novice Counselors
Come join John Brown University's Judy Winslett as she leads novice counselors (1
st
and 2
nd
year) through an exploration of best practices in counseling - focusing on topics of interest to novice counselors. This will be an informative morning for all who attend Novice Counselors will meet to discuss model lesson plans for school guidance which align to the ASCA Standards. Participants are invited to bring any lesson plan examples or ideas that they wish to share with their colleagues. Is there a topic for which you would like ideas/suggestions for building a lesson around? Bring that, too, and let the group assist in building that plan. Lunch is provided and there is no cost for you to attend. A boxed lunch will be available at the end of the session that may be taken or eaten on site.
