NWAESC(2246)---TALENTS: Novice Teacher Forum - Grades 6-12 - Day 3

First year teachers in grades 6-12 are invited to spend the day with highly trained content specialists to spend the day reflecting on their first year and beginning to plan for the next year, as well as having their questions answered by highly qualified, experienced educators. The five components of Domain 2 will be the focus of the morning session, followed by content-specific sessions in the afternoon. This third day with novices will continue the work in The Beginning Teacher's Field Guide, the text with which that was provided at the earlier sessions to improve their skills in the classroom. The follow-up to this book will be both online (through Google Classroom) and in 2 subsequent face-to-face sessions later in the year. Any participant who was unable to attend first day in September will receive their copy of The Beginning Teacher's Field Guide. This session will be offered two days. March 5, 2018 and repeated on Mar. 6, 2018. Lunch is included.
