NWAESC(2246)---TALENTS: Novice Teacher Forum - K-5 Day 2
First year teachers in grades K-5 will spend the day with highly trained content specialists reflecting on their quarter, as well as having their questions answered by these highly qualified, experienced educators. The morning will be spent working on creating a culture of learning, respect, and rapport (Components 2a and 2b), while the afternoon will focus on increasing mathematical understanding in K-5. Increased learning and decreased discipline occurs when effective relationships are created with students, thus this will be a critically important day for all K-5 first year teachers.
This workshop will be offered twice. Once on November 6, 2018 and Repeated on November 7, 2018.
