This session is specifically designed for the Northeast AR ESC Dyslexia Cadre that includes administrators, dyslexia therapists, interventionists, specialists, and other school contacts. During this workshop, current issues will be discussed (Dyslexia Identification, RTI, Cycle 7 Reporting…), as well as any new information from the Arkansas Department of Education regarding meeting the needs of students identified as exhibiting characteristic of Dyslexia. We will begin our book study on Essentials of Dyslexia Assessment and Intervention by Nancy Mather & Barbara Wendling. The focus will be on: Assessment of the cognitive and linguistic correlates of Dyslexia and the P.A.S.T assessment by David Kilpatrick.
