SCSC - Legislative Table Talk
This meeting is to inform legislators of the needs of the public schools as they pertain to the upcoming fiscal session. Likewise, this table talk will inform public school administrators on legislators' thoughts concerning the fiscal needs of local school districts and their opinions about how these needs might be addressed. The hope is that this two-way conversation will clarify issues for both parties and help both sides of the discussion understand the other members' points of view.
Important Session Information:
Topics of discussion are: special education catastrophic funding; use of professional development (PD) funds for professional learning community (PLC) training; teacher salaries; academic facilities funding; NSL funding, and other relevant topics.
