SCSC - Math QuEST for Grades 6 and EHS



Quantitative Essentials for Students and Teachers (QuEST)  is a state initiative focused on research-based mathematics practices for both students and teachers. Together these practices promote a student-centered pedagogy that fosters reasoning and problem solving, meaningful mathematical discourse, and building procedural fluency from conceptual understanding.   Participants must register through the Arkansas Department of Education.  TESS components addressed for this workshop include:  1C, 3B, and 3D.





Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
