ARESC-Navigating Teaching and Learning with a Creative Digital Literacy Plan for the Classroom/School/District



Are you unsure or uncomfortable navigating the digital waters with your students? Have you had a bad experience with incorporating digital learning? Are you ready to embed digital literacy as a seamless component? A comprehensive understanding of the concepts of digital literacy is the first step. Come and explore digital literacy and build your plan! Arkansas' Own Team Digital will help you build your digital literacy knowledge with a common vocabulary, tech safety guidelines, and strategies to select appropriate tools to locate, analyze, create and communicate digitally. Participants will be able to:
-Draft a personalized definition of digital literacy.
-Construct a digital literacy plan.
-utilize digital safety and security.
-Communicate and collaborate in the digital space.



Important Session Information:


Participants should bring their own device and headphones, if possible. If not, please notify the presenter that you need one provided.

Participants not under contract with ARESC's member districts will be charged a fee of $25 per day, or $15 per half day. Payment is required prior to the event session.
