GFESC - INTERPRETING DATA IN SOCIAL STUDIES
Social studies is full of charts, facts, and figures. Interpreting data in the social studies classroom does not have to be intimidating or avoided. Embrace the mathematics with interactive tools, such as Gapminder, to see how you can help students transfer knowledge and skills from their math classes to social studies through the process of inquiry. Teachers will spend time working through lessons that incorporate charts and figures and how to read and interpret the information provided.
