The Central Arkansas CTE Regional Business Partnership Council brings stakeholders in Business, Industry, Economic Development, Post-Secondary and Career and Technical Education together to discuss employer expectations and the skills needed in today’s workforce. The morning will begin with a panel discussion of local business leaders discussing job opportunities and skills needed in their specific fields. Occupational specific breakout sessions will follow the opening session with teachers having the opportunity to expand on the ideas presented during the panel discussion and other topics relevant to their occupational area. This event will meet the ARCareerEd’s requirements for one of the districts' advisory council meetings. Continental breakfast will be provided.
