Improving ACT ASPIRE JE Achievement Grades 3-5
How do we justify our thinking? ACT Aspire requires students to justify or explain their thinking. This session will focus on using Aspire tools. (Justification Statement Table and Performance Level Descriptors) to provide your students with the feedback necessary to help them increase achievement on the Mathematics ACT Aspire JE Reporting Category. Participants will use their current curriculum to find and rewrite problems which elicit reasoning and justification. Rubrics will also be created based on the JE Table and PLDs. Come join us and learn what the expectations are for the JE Reporting Category of the ACT Aspire!
Important Session Information:
A $50 FEE WILL BE DUE ON THE DAY OF THE WORKSHOP IF NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE DMESC PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONSORTIUM.
