GFESC - LAUNCH INTO CODING



THIS IS A TWO DAY WORKSHOP

You have been asked to teach coding....now what?  Do you desire to be ahead of the game?  Are you struggling to keep up with your students?  This PD will help you Launch into an Outer Space Adventure of Coding.  Learning the basics of coding concepts including variables, conditions, and loops as they are important to successfully Blasting Off and Exploring the Solar System called Code.  Join the flight crew of elementary teachers, coding block teachers, and other leaders who want to learn to soar among the stars.  The flight crew will explore standards related to coding and beyond.  

This workshop is for all K-8 teachers including any 7th or 8th grade teacher interested in teaching the block .

NOTE: Coding Block Teachers - If you need projects, activities, and resources directly related to the coding block, please consider joining the Coding Block Resources PD (June 7).



Important Session Information:


Lunch will be provided.

When you register for this workshop, you are automatically enrolled in both days.

Participants are asked to bring a laptop or Chromebook.
