GFESC - EXPLORING THE MULBERRY RIVER IN YOUR OWN KAYAK/CANOE



Participants will journey down the Mulberry River by canoe and kayak and explore the geology, biology, and history of the region.  Professional staff will be provided by ADE and the Arkansas Game and Fish and instruction will include methodology and lesson plans pertinent to middle and high school educators across the curriculum. 

GFESC and Arkansas Game and Fish are not responsible for accidents or injury.

NOTICE: REGISTRATION REQUIRES YOUR OWN KAYAK OR CANOE and WORKSHOP IS CONTINGENT ON WATER FLOW.  PLEASE CHECK WEBSITE WEEK OF WORKSHOP.



Important Session Information:


NO COST TO PDC DISTRICTS.

INSTRUCTIONS: Participants will need to bring a sack lunch and drinks/water.  Dress appropriate for outdoor and water activity - sunscreen, water shoes, etc.

Attendees will meet at the Baptist Church Camp. (Cross over Mulberry River going North, turn to the left (West) and proceed two miles.)  Camp will be located on the right hand side of the road.
