The Arkansas School Nurse Academy (SNA) is a one-day workshop that will be hosted five different times in 2019. It prepares school nurses to manage complex health issues of Arkansas school children. The content will be on specific disorders, evidence-based practices, quality improvement, and leadership. The school nurse will increase knowledge and skills to better manage acute and chronic conditions by keeping students healthy and in school while empowering to connect the outcomes for academic achievement.
