SCSC - R.I.S.E. Revisited



This training will include revisiting the instructional strategies and best practices based on the science of reading discussed in K-2 and 3-6 R.I.S.E. Academies. Participants will be actively involved in deeper discussions and activities including phonological awareness, decoding, encoding, morphology, assessments, and more. This event will be led by participant voice and choice, so be ready to share and contribute.  TESS components addressed for this workshop include:   1E, 3C, and 3D.

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
