SCSC-Alternative Pathway to Graduation for Secondary Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities (Morning Session)



A new pathway to graduation will be put in place for students with significant cognitive disabilities beginning the fall of 2019 for ninth graders.  This session will explore the requirements of this new pathway and provide instructional supports for teachers.  This session will benefit all secondary teachers who teach students with significant cognitive disabilities. TESS Components addressed: 1a, 1c, 1e. This session may be paired with DLM Basics in order to receive a total of 6 hours of Professional Development: ESC Works # 371482. Participants must register for both sessions.



Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
