SE Open Up Resources/Illustrative Mathematics Math, Grades 6-8, and Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II, YEAR 1



Are you looking for a new curriculum that meets the rigorous demands of our state standards and supports the Arkansas Department of Education’s vision to lead the nation in student-focused education? This training will introduce you to a NEW, FREE resource provided by Open Up Resources and Kendall Hunt called Illustrative Mathematics 6-8 Math Curriculum.

This curriculum provides

  • Vertical alignment (K-HS)
  • Supports for English Learners and Students with Disabilities built into the teacher notes
  • Student-friendly goals and learning targets before and after each lesson to focus learning.
  • Diagnostic and End-of-Unit Assessments, as well as Mid-Unit assessments for longer units.
  • Instruction Routines that promote a culture of learning and growth mindset
