OUR Engaging Students in Science with the Arts: Tableau



How can the arts be used to engage students in science practices?  The art of tableau, or "living pictures," has been used for centuries to entertain, educate, and engage.  In this 6 hour workshop, learn how this arts-based practice can be used in the sciences to motivate students to deepen their understanding of vocabulary and concepts, engage in argumentation with evidence, and have fun while learning.

Audience: Grades K-12 teachers, Curriculum Specialists, G/T, Instructional Facilitators, Administrators
