In order to create common formative assessments, it is important to identify overarching standards to describe desirable outcomes. This pd will help teachers in 6-10 mathematics to identify critical standards and create common formative assessments to identify student misconceptions, obstacles, and gaps in skill. Teachers will feel better equipped to design common formative assessment in their classroom during the next school year. Participants are not required to have completed essential standards work in their district prior to this meeting.
