DSC Due Process for Novice Teachers of Special Education



This day-long training is designed for novice special education teachers and will cover the components of special education due process from referral through re-evaluation. Writing data driven, legally defensible, standards-based IEPs will be covered. Special attention will be given to compliance with IDEA and Arkansas' rules & regulations, to include completing the Arkansas forms in a manner that meets statutory requirements. A copy of Special Education: A Guide for Due Process is included for all participants.
