DSC When Surviving takes Precedence over Learning

This training is much needed in our schools today. It is recommended for every teacher, principal, therapist, school counselor, school psychologist, paraprofessional, and staff member in the educational system. Many of Brandi's personal experiences will be shared that will give not only the educator side of this but the parent side as well. We will discuss in depth the differences between children with trauma-attachment disorder and children with emotional trauma, birth trauma, and PTSD vs a disability diagnosis so that participants will understand why such children require different educational and behavioral approaches. The importance of Social Emotional Learning will be addressed as well as was to enrich your classroom and teaching to incorporate.
