DSC Open Up Resources 6-8 Math: Better and Stronger - Year 2



Now that you have had some time to experience Open Up Resources 6-8 Math with students and you have seen how it has engaged and empowered them as mathematicians, you are ready for a deeper look at what this curriculum offers and how you can be more efficient in your use of it. Year 2 PD includes the following areas of focus:
*Establishing a Culture of Learning
*Efficient & Effective Lesson Planning: Addressing the “time” issue
*Understanding the Purposes & Uses of Various Math Tools & Representations
