SCSC - Student Engagement in the Math Classroom
What does brain research offer that can help teachers engage their students? Emotion plays a key role in learning. In this training, teachers will be learning and using strategies to motivate and engage students in the learning.
TESS components addressed for this workshop include:
2A, 2B, and 2D.

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
