NAESC Arkansas World Language Standards
The new Arkansas World Language Standards grant more freedom and flexibility to teachers and students than they have ever had before. They also provide opportunities for creative new course offerings that have the potential to help foreign language teachers increase their student enrollment. In this six-hour workshop led by David Nance, the foreign language specialist at the Arkansas Department of Education, teachers will learn about the new standards and new options, will see examples of unique courses that are being offered around the state, and will have the opportunity to create and share outlines for new lessons, units, and even new courses.
