This training will introduce you to a NEW, FREE resource provided by Open Up Resources and Kendall Hunt called Illustrative Mathematics 6-8 Math Curriculum.
This curriculum provides: 1) Vertical alignment (K-HS), 2) Supports for English Learners and Students with Disabilities built into the teacher notes, 3) Student-friendly goals and learning targets before and after each lesson to focus learning, 4) Diagnostic and End-of-Unit Assessments, as well as Mid-Unit assessments for longer units, and 5) Instruction Routines that promote a culture of learning and growth mindset.
